Jovan Akik is a final-year student of Engineering Management at the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad. He gained experience in various branches of industry, starting with food production where he had the opportunity to work and visit more than 20 plants. He then worked as a Business Development Manager in a marketing agency and hospitality industry where he contributed to an exceptional expansion of the business in a short period of time. After that, he found a new challenge in the international corporation Philip Morris as Team Leader for Market Research activities in the FMCG sector. In parallel with economic involvement, through various projects and entrepreneurial activities, he was an active member of the student parliament of FTN. Also, as a member of the FTN Student Union, he participated in the founding of the IIMprovement brand, which creates content and organizes events for students in his department. He recently became a member of the university parliament in Novi Sad. His passion is case study competition and debating, where he led teams and won medals in various competitions. Through the synergy of activism, experience from business, and knowledge from the university, he wants to influence young people precisely through the work of the association.
